CALLING NEW BOARD MEMBERS

The Alpharetta Symphony is looking for experienced, diverse community leaders that are passionate about the arts and cultural experiences. Serving on the Alpharetta Symphony’s Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for dedicated individuals to give back to their community by strengthening the state of the arts in Alpharetta and across North Fulton.

WHAT DOES A BOARD MEMBER DO?

Alpharetta Symphony Board members offer oversight of the organization towards the execution of the Symphony’s mission (to inspire, connect, educate, and enrich our home city of Alpharetta and North Fulton through the magic of classical music) and financial stability.

Board members attend bi-monthly Board meetings and serve on committees based on their interests and skills - committees include Artistic, Community Outreach, Development, Education, Finance, Governance, Marketing, and Venue). Committees meet monthly.

Board members attend concerts, and promote the Symphony and all that it offers to our community with their networks.

Desired Skills

We are especially interested in individuals with specific skill sets, including:
