Written with cheerfulness and romantic folk music as the inspiration, Dvořák’s 8th Symphony is a perfect spirit-lifter as we head into the chill of the colder months. You’ll ride the peaks and valleys of the shepherds’ and farmers’ lives depicted musically. Then, Alex Wasserman takes to the keys to set off the fireworks that lie throughout Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1.  These two must-hear pieces are perfectly paired with the opening music to the opera, Zampa, all about unrequited love, deception, and a pirate!

Tickets are on sale now. Want to experience the whole season? Consider a season subscription.
