The AlphaSO recognizes composer Ludwig van Beethoven’s 250th birthday anniversary with a birthday “scarecrow” in his honor at the Alpharetta Scarecrow Harvest Festival. Beethoven can be found at the corner of Academy and Market streets across from the Alpharetta First Baptist Church, wearing full birthday party attire and enjoying a cupcake!
This year’s Harvest Festival will be held at Brooke Street Park on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00am -2:00pm, and will feature over 100 scarecrows displayed by local schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, and other groups and individuals. The event has been voted by Travel & Leisure as the best fall festival in Georgia! The free family entertainment includes a DJ, games of crow-cornhole, face painting, food trucks, artsy activities, and inflatables among other attractions. Visit Awesome Alpharetta’s website for more information.
