"Solos of Spring" Youth Concerto Competition Concert

Music selections for the "Solos of Spring" concert will include Rossini's "Barber of Seville" Overture, Verdi's "La Traviata - Prelude to Act 1,"  and Lalo's "Symphony Espagnole I. Allegro Non-Troppo."  The Alpharetta Youth Symphony Orchestra will join the adult orchestra for this concert event.

Each year in November the AlphaSO hosts their Youth Concerto Competition in which instrumentalists ages 18 and under who reside in Georgia compete for an opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra in their March concert.  Past winners have included accomplished piano, flute, harp, cello, violin, and oboe soloists.  All performances have received standing ovations.

The four winners of the 2019 Youth Concerto Competition will perform as featured guest soloists at this concert event.  Bios for Eugenie Lim, Joshua Sampson, Tobias Liu, and Maximilian Lou can be found here.

Advance tickets are available here online for $16 (Adult) or $9 (Student - ages 17 and under).  Tickets will be available at the door the day of the concert for $18 (Adult) or $11 (Student).  All ticket sales are final.
