About The Event

Advance reservations for auditions are required.

Auditions for the 2018-2019 concert season will be held from 6:00-8:30PM on August 23rd for strings and August 30th for brass, woodwind, and percussion instrumentalists. Musicians with a high school playing level or higher, including those with professional resumes, are encouraged to audition.

The orchestra is seeking to fill the following instrumentalist positions: all strings, oboes, bassoons, french horns, and trombones. Some positions are paid principal chairs, including concert master.

Auditions will be held at the Crabapple First Baptist Church located at 12760 Birmingham Hwy., Milton, GA 30004.

Audition Music:

1) Any 2, two-octave scales

2) A 1-2 minute excerpt of your choice

3) A brief site-reading excerpt
